The Procurement Signal is a passion project of mine.

Over the last decade, I have navigated complex corners in non-traditional procurement roles, such as Value Engineering (cutting costs by design), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Supply chain transparency & Vendor Management. I don’t believe procurement should just be a back-office function; I believe it is the architect of organizational value.

Yet, procurement teams struggle. We struggle with:

• our identity in the business

• securing our seat at the strategy table

• being the bearer of conflicting priorities (such as cut costs + reduce risk + enhance sustainability footprint)

• operational compliance vs over engineered processes

• setting technology needs to serve the business you are in

• just keeping it simple!

I don’t just want to tell you “what” the problem is or “why” is it happening, but I want to show you “how” it gets done.
